Overview
Timber frame is one of the quickest ways to get a building out of the ground. Our joiners set out sole plates, erect wall panels, fix floor cassettes and get the roof on, so the building is weathertight in days and the following trades can start sooner.
We work from your architect's and engineer's drawings, or from a frame manufacturer's panel layout, and we're used to working alongside main contractors on multi-plot sites as well as homeowners building a single extension.

Common questions
How long does a timber frame take to erect?
A typical house frame goes up in one to two weeks, depending on size, access and whether the panels are factory-made. A single-storey extension frame is often up in a few days.
Do you supply the frame as well as erect it?
Both. We can erect a frame supplied by a manufacturer, or source and build the frame ourselves from the engineer's design.
Is timber frame accepted by mortgage lenders?
Yes. Timber frame is a mainstream construction method in the UK and is accepted by lenders and building control when built to the approved design.
