Overview
A good floor starts with accurate setting out. We install solid timber and engineered I-joists to the engineer's layout, fix hangers and strutting properly, and board out so the floor is flat, stiff and quiet.
We regularly install floors across multiple plots for contractors, and single floors for extensions, loft conversions and refurbishments where old joists need replacing or strengthening.

Common questions
Can you work to an engineer's joist layout?
Yes. We install to the structural engineer's or manufacturer's layout, including specified hangers and fixings.
Do you replace rotten or damaged joists?
Yes. We can sister, strengthen or replace existing joists as part of a refurbishment.
Can you notch or drill joists for services?
Only within the limits set out by the engineer or manufacturer. We'll coordinate with your plumber and electrician so nothing gets weakened.

Drawings & approvals
We work with your architect, engineer and building control, or put you in touch with ours.
Frame & build
Our own joiners on site, a named lead for the job, and a weekly progress update with photos.
